I bought a game to play with my GF, we love collaborative games, she loves beautiful things. I love Ico / SoC / TLG etc so we don’t have to try anything to make it enjoyable. For this reason, I have no problem leaving 30 quid on a new game with no reviews on Steam. I regret buying it. I’ll do the same thing over and over again to promote more collaborative games on Steam.

However. This is not a co-op game. There is not enough playing here to qualify as a single player experience. Extending those tasks between the two characters means that one of the people is playing. Half the time and nothing to the contrary. And I mean literally nothing. You wait for the other person to do a bit of changing the characters. You never indulge in anything at the same time. The split screen is awful.

There is no button to locate your collaborating partner and the surroundings are very bland. You don’t know where they are by looking at their screen. It seems legitimate that they realize it. They can talk late, which gives the core feel of the odd game.
