Rise of Humanity is a strategic roguelike deckbuilding game. The Highwaymind Project is the most powerful AI created by mankind as a result. We didn’t know better at that time than letting our automatic workforce take control. A disaster waiting to happen when the AI is rogue. In Rise of Humanity, you take control of a group of odd heroes that have survived the invasion that began more than 50 years ago. They find that the robots that the AI uses to do its bidding are weakening, and it’s time to hit back. Each hero (and enemy) is controlled by a deck of cards.

This deck gives you the actions of your characters during the mission. Each mission is played on a hexagonal grid in a strategic turn-based manner. The mission is never the same because the missions are procedurally built. Destroying enemies and completing missions gives you access to new cards for your heroes. You build their deck while you play the game! However if they die, they lose their progress so every decision counts. Will you be there to save humanity and rise again from the ashes of this attack.
